Hi there, my name is Kim Burgess.
I have been part of the wedding industry for over 30 years.  My love for weddings grew from the time I started as a Make-Up Artist, followed by many years as the owner of two award-winning Beauty Salons.  Along with creating beautiful looks on the day, I spent time prepping faces and bodies for the Brides and Grooms big day.
I now live on the amazing Tamborine Mountain and continue in the wedding industry as a Marriage Celebrant – my passion. I love the opportunity to meet with fabulous couples, who are in love and want to create a future together.
I believe it to be my role to create the look and feel that you dream of for your Wedding Ceremony. It is Your Day – Your Way!
My experience, my passion for love for people, is what drives me to create individual ceremonies for each of my couples that will forever bring happy memories. I am often described as bubbly, and I do enjoy a good laugh.  I am down to earth, and gather people into my world, simply because I am a people person. Nurturing and caring comes naturally to me and this helps me to look after you both during your Ceremony. You will feel confident that even if your nerves kick in on the day (and they will), or you fluff your vows – I’ve got you!  Even Celebrants feel nervous sometimes - on my wedding day I said the wrong name when reciting my wedding vows!!
I am now into my 6th year as a Marriage Celebrant with more than 200 weddings in my portfolio, I believe I could be the Celebrant you are looking for.
I think it is fabulous that many of the couples I have married, have come back to me to name their children, or create a vow renewal ceremony for them to celebrate a special anniversary.
